Broker Preview in Laguna Beach is such a treat because you never know what you’re going to see. Even the most seasoned realtors are frequently surprised. Homes in Laguna Beach range from tiny cottages to massive estates. Spectacular view-properties that cling to the hillsides like a Koala clings to a tree to ocean front estates that kiss the waves at high tide. On a typical preview Wednesday, you’ll get a taste of each of these. There are also amazingly artistic and creative people in Laguna who introduce some interesting details to their properties. I’m drawn to oddities that are a little quirky, distinctive or unique – something that puts a smile on my face. It might be something as simple as a ship’s bell on the front door or a colorfully painted picket fence (both are items I’ve actually admired). Today was a little different; As a rule, I’m more of a shower guy than a bather, but when I saw this tub I thought maybe I can be converted. A nice soak in this tub watching the sun set over Catalina Island sounds pretty seductive. Throw in a nice Pinot Noir and I might give up on showers for good.
